Who is Jesus? – Ep 24 – "Take Heart, Jesus Has Overcome the World" (John 16)

As Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure, He knows they are filled with confusion, fear, and sorrow. Yet rather than leaving them discouraged, He gives them hope. Jesus promises the coming of the Holy Spirit, who will guide, comfort, and strengthen His people. He assures them that their sorrow will one day turn to joy and that, despite the troubles they will face in this world, they can have peace because He has overcome the world. In this message, we discover how Jesus meets us in our fears, sustains us through our struggles, and gives us joy and peace that circumstances cannot take away. Who is Jesus? – Ep 22 – "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled" (John 14)

Life has a way of troubling our hearts. We face uncertainty, disappointment, loss, anxiety, and questions about the future. As Jesus gathers with His disciples on the night before the cross, their hearts are troubled as well. Everything they expected seems to be falling apart. Yet in the middle of their fear, Jesus gives them a promise that still speaks to us today: “Let not your hearts be troubled.” This is easy to hear, but a reality that's hard to live.  In this message, we discover how Jesus meets troubled hearts with three incredible gifts: a secure future, access to the Father, and His abiding presence through the Holy Spirit. We’ll see that the answer to our deepest fears is not better circumstances, but Jesus Himself. Who is Jesus? – Ep 21 – "Lessons From the War Room" (John 13:21-38)

John chapter 13 to 17 takes place in the upper room and we see Jesus preparing His men with some final instructions. Some scholars have referred to the upper room as a war room. We are going to look at three lessons from the war room in this message.
