In this week’s episode, we sit down to talk to DMV-raised artist and old high school friend VHS Jr. and talk about his budding music career as well as his move to Boston. We discuss societal pressures/expectations when it comes to meeting deadlines by a certain age, discovering your passion, and finding your footing. We also discuss our feelings about the George Floyd verdict, Kehlani coming out as a lesbian. In our Lyric Talk segment VHS Jr. breaks down his recent single “Neighbors”, and talks about the deep personal event that inspired it.

We cover how music videos play a role in how he  gains inspirations for his shoots. We also cover the overabundance of music drops in quantity vs quality when it comes to artists dropping multiple projects in a year.
