It is those small, mindful moments of being present with our bodies, our breath and the nature around us where we can set everything down for just a moment and take a deep breath into gratitude. In Ayurveda, Winter is Vata season, and grounding is essential for calming the nervous system. Trust in yourself in this practice and listen to what you need. Remember this is a practice and you hold the key to your own inner world. Find a comfortable shape for your body, and invite Mother Earth to hold you.
