The two games in San Antonio were hard fought and filled with mistakes by the upstart Spurs. They showed all of their cards early in the contest getting double figure leads, all to fall back into despair down the stretch and lost both games at home. They are now headed to the Mecca of basketball at Madison Square Garden where the crowd had been awaiting the return to the Garden and a possible sweep. The crowd will be diminished in a sense because an unwanted house guest is forcing the closure of the watch party areas around the building and fans that do get in the building are being treated to TSA style searches. Hopefully for the teams they won't be distracted too much. As for the Conference Finals, the favorites were Detroit in the East and Oklahoma City in the West. I think the league manipulated the results for the Spurs to be catapulted into the Finals. Detroit did themselves in and the Knicks are the class of the East, sweeping the last two rounds and winning 11 games in a row (13) to represent the East. World Baseball Classic Final - Venezuela v. USA FreshMint Pod S3E7

The Venezuela team scored first in the 3rd inning off a sacrifice by Maikel Garcia and again in the 5th, off a homer by Wilyer Abreu for 2-0 lead and kept the United States team at bay for most of the night. Venezuela's pitching was solid all night until Bryce Harper jacked a two run homer in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the U.S. life. In the top of the 9th, Luis Arraez led off with a walk and Javier Sanoja came in to run for Arraez. Sanoja stole 2nd and came home as Eugenio Suarez doubled to center. The new Qb Jaxon Dart and his sidekick in the backfield Cam Skattebo wreak havoc on the Eagles who are currently dealing with conflict and dissension in the locker room. They are saying all the right things but this 0-2 record in the last two games says different. On Sunday Morning, the Broncos took on the Jets in London England, and the defensive battle left the New York Jets a broken offense. They compiled a total of 82 yards for the game. Sam Darnold played an efficient game and got the win. In our opinion Marvin Harrison Jr. needs more touches. Two Monday Night Football Games took place with the New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Denver Broncos. The Jets started the game pounding the ball in the running game from one end of the field to the other, but they failed to score turning the ball over as they crossed the goal line. Their defense is still one of the best in the league, but they couldn't prevent the loss27-21. Tyreek Hill is out for the season with a gruesome injury to his knee. The Broncos blew out the Bengals 28-3. I know it's early but the Broncos seem to be positioning themselves for a playoff run.  Which school has the best receivers in the league, L.S.U. or Ohio State? Is there another school we missed who has at least three receivers making their mark in the NFL? Let us know!!! Shout out to Lewis Hamilton, the F1 driver for Ferrari who lost his best friend Roscoe.
