In the shadow of Geneva's towering Reformation Wall, Harmonia visits the one name carved apart from the rest --- Marie Dentire, a former abbess turned reformer who insisted that Scripture belonged to every reader, not only the ordained. Her 1539 Epistle to Marguerite de Navarre defended women's right to investigate sacred truth for themselves, the same forward-looking instinct that led Copernicus, in those very same years, to set aside centuries of inherited authority and look up at the sky with his own eyes.
