The Long Way Home Podcast
In this episode of The Long Way Home Podcast, Kyle and Jordan recap all the action from the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, where Formula 1 delivered another exciting weekend of close racing. We break down the key moments from Sunday's race, discussing one of the lowest attrition rates we've seen all season, the intense battle at the front, and why the fight for both the Drivers' Championship and Constructors' Championship still feels completely open. With Mercedes continuing to battle for the top spot and the competitive order still evolving, we share our thoughts on what this means for the remainder of the 2026 season. Away from Formula 1, we also recap our visit to a fantastic automotive meet hosted by Miles Charlesworth and Legacy Driven at Wharfebank Mills in Otley. Travelling in Kyle's grandad's beautifully restored 1955 Austin-Healey, we spent the day surrounded by an incredible variety of classic, modern, and enthusiast-owned vehicles. We discuss the atmosphere, the people we met, some of our favourite cars from the event, and why grassroots car gatherings like this are such an important part of the automotive community. Huge credit to Miles and everyone involved in organising a brilliant day—we're already looking forward to the next Legacy Driven event. If you enjoy Formula 1 race analysis, classic cars, automotive events, and car culture, you're in the right place. Hosted by Kyle & Jordan. New episodes every week.
