Haddow Hales-Lavercombe also joins us to talk factory-registered Land Rovers and his involvement with the CVC Register. Plus we get a first-hand account of what it's like to drive a 2.25 diesel Series III for hundreds of miles. The Gaydon Land Rover Show is this weekend! And is V8-converting a Series I sacrilege?

In this week's episode, Martin and Steve mull over the idea of replacing Steve's 300Tdi engine that's currently in his project 90 with a V8. The right thing to do, or an expensive delay to further stall the project? It's the Gaydon Land Rover Show this weekend at the British Motor Museum, and the boys are here to tell you all about what you can expect. Grab your tickets from https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/whats-on/gaydon-land-rover-show [https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/whats-on/gaydon-land-rover-show] Elsewhere, there's listeners' questions on a plethora of subjects including fitting a Rover V8 into a 86in Series I and which models of Land Rover that fly under the radar of the usual choices including Discovery 3 4.4 and Evoque Si4. As always, thanks for listening and send any feedback, queries, comments or questions to editorial@lrm.co.uk [editorial@lrm.co.uk] – we love to get them!
