Since 1969, Childhaven has been lifting children from crisis to hope.  What began as a children’s emergency shelter has grown into a comprehensive organization serving vulnerable children and families through emergency shelter services, children’s advocacy programs, and therapeutic foster care. On this episode of The Mayor’s Table, Mayor Duckett sits down with Childhaven’s Andrea Peña and Jennifer Gray to discuss the growing need for foster families in San Juan County and how Childhaven’s therapeutic foster care program is helping children heal and find stability during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
