Several state agencies are coming together to work on reducing the number of collisions between wildlife and vehicles in Pennsylvania. Twenty percent of Pennsylvanians live in a rural county, but only 10 percent of doctors practice in these locations. One team of stakeholders thinks they have a solution to address the shortage and might extend the reach of existing physicians. Their vision is for Primary Care Medics to – someday – make house calls. And a deeper dive: Camp Cranium is a summer camp for children with traumatic brain injuries. The week-long camp provides community, support and fun for the campers, encouraging independence and building their confidence every June. If you already support WITF with an ongoing monthly contribution, thank you. If every member of WITF's Sustaining Circle increased their gift by as little as $12 a month, we could close the budget gap caused by cuts in federal funding and keep this programming going strong. Increase your gift at https://witf.org/increase [https://witf.org/increase] or become a new sustaining member at www.witf.org/givenow. [https://www.witf.org/givenow] And thanks!
