James 1: 22 says to be a doer of God’s Word. You can’t do what you don’t remember. How often have you read your Bible, listened to a sermon, or been in a small group discussion, and felt like what you were taking in was important, only to later not remember what you heard or read? You are not alone, and there is a remedy to this problem. To be impacted by Scripture, you must put that Scripture to work in your life by learning the lost art of Scripture memorization.
