The Pitts : Stories from the Depths
In the early 80s Atlanta was considered the city that was "Too Busy to Hate" thanks to a Mayor that was determined to see the city succeed. However, underneath the image of prosperity there was a much darker picture forming in part to a man that would go on to be called "The Atlanta Monster," Between 1979 and 1982 more than 28 children, teens, and young adults would allegedly be killed by this monster. But is the man they placed on trial truly responsible for ALL of those deaths? Was he working with someone? Was the KKK involved? What "key evidence" did the FBI find that would be left out of Wayne Williams' trial and why is the current Mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottoms, reopening this case?
