Whenever you are visiting Orissa, this is the one place that everyone will recommend visiting to experience its grandeur and enormity. It’s the Konark Sun Temple or Konark Surya Mandir. Located in the eponymous village of Konark, 35 km from Puri, it is the remains of a temple that was constructed in the 13th century. If you are visiting Orissa, Konark Sun Temple is a place that you must visit. If you don’t, then your trip to Orissa will stay incomplete. Draupadi Murmu, the new President of India, is the country’s first tribal woman to win the top constitutional post. Murmu was the former Governor of Jharkhand. Apart from this, Murmu also created history by becoming the first President of Odisha of a major political party or alliance. She was also the first woman governor of Jharkhand. She served as Jharkhand Governor from 2015 to 2021. Murmu comes from a poor tribal family in the village of Mayurbhanj, a district in Odisha.  This podcast is dedicated to our newest President of India, Draupadi Murmu, & her life history.
