In this sermon we explore what the book of Proverbs has to say about disciplining a child so that they might be wise and not grow foolish. We begin with the foundational text that reveal to us the kind of nature our children are born with, and then we show the biblical love a parents ought to exercise when seeking to correct their children for the glory of God.

This sermon highlights the properly ordered affections the early Christians had that gave them the testimony that the world was at threat of being turned upside down. We learn here that in Christ alone we can be be grounded men with chest that stand at the door defending our families, churches and society against feminisms ugly agenda to demonize all things godly. SERMON: The Pedagogy of Christian Education

In this sermon, we turn from the theory of Christian education to the practice of Christian formation, asking how wisdom actually moves from one generation to the next. Proverbs teaches us that wisdom is caught before it is taught, transmitted through imitation, forged through faithful friction, directed through deliberate training, and protected from rival voices that would lead our children away from the fear of the Lord. Yet our hope is not in perfect pedagogy, but in Christ Himself—the Wisdom of God made flesh—who has saved us by grace and now equips us by His Spirit to raise children who know, love, imitate, and follow Him.
