The PWHL Playoffs are upon us! Montreal chose their opponent – Ottawa – and the Charge pulled off the upset in Game 1. Toronto took care of business against Minnesota in Game 1 of their series, a rematch of last year’s semifinal. Sue Bird is named managing director of the U.S. Women’s Basketball Team. Canada gets a big win in rugby. And Michaela and Vanessa have a big announcement in advance of Pride Month!

Michaela and Vanessa catch-up with Ashton Bell, captain of the Ottawa Charge, who are in a feverish playoff race with last year’s finalists Boston and Minnesota which will come down to the final weekend of the regular season. Ottawa Rapid FC win their inaugural game at home against Toronto, who start 0-2 despite outplaying their opponents in both games. Barcelona and Arsenal will compete in the Champions League Final. It’s official: The PWHL will be expanding to Seattle as well as Vancouver next year, growing the league from six to eight teams. The expansion draft will take place in late June.
