Celebrating Reconciliation

Are you reconciled to God? Has your relationship with God been restored? Jesus has offered us a couple ways to get there; things like repentance and communion. But what about being reconciled with our neighbors? In this week's scripture, Jesus teaches us that reconciliation with our neighbors is important too. It helps us worship and serve more fully, it allows us to share love more freely and it eliminates the distractions of bad thoughts and negative emotions. Let's learn what reconciliation looks like!

VBS is over, but the lessons it taught us will never end. Heroes for God are disciples of Christ who follow Jesus, help others, work together, listen to God and show grace. They seek peace and resist evil. How can we, the Body of Christ, bring peace into the world in Jesus' name?

This Sunday is VBS Eve...the day before VBS begins. We want the whole church to be involved in learning how to become heroes for God. Last week we talked about two of the VBS topics, and this week we will discuss the other three. God's heroes work together to bring peace!
