It's not that we're freed from doing righteousness, it's that we're ABLE to do righteousness now

There's one point (Nehemiah 4:17) where they had a hammer in one hand and a weapon in the other. It was a really great visual. That's what God's called us to, to protect the Word, protect the ways of Christ in our own hearts, in our life, and yet to build the kingdom of God as we've been called to. That magic word, "Yet!"

He told me to do something. I did it, in faith.

And He met me in that leap of faith. And this is something that hit Aaron Liebert really hard, and it says in Psalm 23, it's "a Psalm of David." If you know anything about David, he had a lot of difficulty, because of himself. It wasn't always the things around him, but it was himself, it was the mirror. Psalm 23 says, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Do you have all that you need today? With Jesus, you do. But I think it's not just the tithe. Give love. You'll get more love back. Give patience. You'll get more patience back. All the fruit of the spirit. When I make a choice to read the Bible, … there's some magic that happens there.
