When sickness strikes, our first instinct is to turn to doctors. If the illness is severe, we seek a second opinion and see a specialist or a surgeon. But what happens when the sickness has no human cure? Where do you turn when medicine fails, when human help runs out? Where human wisdom ends, Jesus’ mercy begins. Where doctors are baffled, Christ is sufficient. He is not only able to heal, but willing to heal, moved by tender compassion for the broken and afflicted.
