Acts of Authenticity
Many people over the course of their lives experience Acute Stress, an immediate reaction to a sudden situation such as missing your alarm in the morning and waking up late for work. Chronic stress, however, is a consistent sense of feeling overwhelmed and pressured over a long period of time leading to symptoms such as: -Gut problems (IBS/ constipation) - Skin problems (psoriasis) - Brain fog/ lack of concentration - Insomnia - Emotional withdrawal On this episode I discuss the effects of chronic stress, my own experience and the causes of why we may be experiencing long term stress.
