EP 38 - Everything happens for a reason, but not everything is yours to keep

NOTHING IN LIFE IS RANDOM. The people you meet, the opportunities that show up, even the things that don’t work out the way you expected. It all carries meaning but this episode isn’t just about trusting the signs, it’s about learning how to interpret them. Just because something shows up in your life doesn’t mean it’s yours to keep. In this episode, we explore ✨Why life often feels random when there’s actually a deeper pattern ✨How to find meaning in both alignment and misalignment ✨The difference between something being a sign vs a lesson ✨Why 'everything happens for a reason' can sometimes keep you stuck This episode was inspired by a message I pulled around balance, harmony, and fair play, what it really means to choose what is right for you, rather than blindly accepting what shows up because not everything that enters your life is meant for you. Some things are just there to show you something. Healing Girl Homework 'Is this aligned for me… or is this here to teach me something?' Trust the signs yes but trust yourself more🖤

episode EP 37 - This explains everything artwork

EP 37 - This explains everything

After 3 years of back and forth with doctors… I’ve finally been diagnosed with ADHD. And honestly? I don’t even know how to put into words what that feels like. This episode is raw, unfiltered, and realtime because this isn’t just a diagnosis… it’s a moment of understanding, validation, and reflection. In this episode, I share: ✨What it felt like to finally get answers after years of questioning myself ✨The relief… and the sadness that comes with it ✨How many things in my life suddenly make sense ✨The damage of thinking “I’m the problem” for so long ✨Why this doesn’t change who I am but changes how I understand myself For years, I thought I was inconsistent, undisciplined, too much, or not enough. But what if it was never that? What if I just didn’t understand how my brain works? This episode is for anyone who has ever felt like they’re constantly fighting themselves… and wondering why it feels harder for them than everyone else. Healing Girl Homework: Instead of asking yourself “what’s wrong with me?” Ask “What if my brain just works differently?” Sometimes the thing you’ve been trying to fix… just needs to be understood.

EP 36 - The chapter between effort and evidence

Today’s episode is a little different. It’s an honest conversation about the quieter seasons in life and business, the ones where you’re still showing up, still doing the work, but the results haven’t caught up yet. We don’t talk about these seasons enough, the ones where you’re giving more than you’re receiving. The ones where motivation feels low, energy feels flat and you start questioning whether you’re on the right path. In this episode, we explore; ✨The pressure to always be “on” in personal growth and business ✨Why quiet seasons often come before expansion ✨Trusting your intuition when your energy shifts ✨Building something meaningful before the evidence appears ✨The difference between pushing through and listening inward Sometimes growth doesn’t look like momentum, sometimes it looks like slowing down and trusting the process. Healing Girl Homework Ask yourself today 'Am I pushing because it’s aligned… or because I’m afraid to slow down?' The season between effort and evidence is uncomfortable but it’s often where the real work is happening.

episode EP 35 - You don't want to heal, you want to cope artwork

EP 35 - You don't want to heal, you want to cope

This episode is a little uncomfortable. Because sometimes we’re not actually avoiding healing, we’re avoiding the truth of what we’re still doing to keep the pain alive. In this episode, I open up about the ways we distract ourselves from our wounds instead of confronting them, the coping mechanisms, the habits, and the stories we hide behind because they feel safer than sitting with what’s underneath. We talk about ✨Why avoidance can feel safer than healing ✨The 'plaster strategy' using habits, work, alcohol, validation or chaos to numb pain ✨How trauma can lead us to unconsciously repeat or recreate situations we haven’t processed ✨The uncomfortable truth about responsibility in the healing journey ✨Why healing isn’t linear, clean or pretty, it’s confronting and messy This episode also shares part of my own experience with alcohol, avoidance, and the realisation that coping and healing are not the same thing. Healing doesn’t mean blaming yourself for what happened but at some point, you do have to decide whether you’re ready to face what’s underneath the coping. Healing Girl Homework Ask yourself honestly: 'What am I using to avoid sitting with myself?' Then gently explore what might come up if you didn’t reach for that thing. Coping keeps you surviving but healing changes your life.
