As far as atheists are concerned Christ is a literary figure and the invention of Jews who never knew the man in person. By Jews I mean the pharisee Saul of Tarsus and his creationist cronies.  Dawkins introduced Yahweh the God of War in 2006 and that was a game changer. Dan Barker in 2016 concluded the God of War and Jesus Christ was the same person. This means Jesus Christ was Yahweh 2.0  The historical figure was either the Christ or the God of War. Catholics opted for the Christ. At least 10 years after the crucifixion the Pharisee turned the God of War into the creator-god and Christ the saviour. Saul the Jew had to reinvent God to remain relevant. The God of War had made it clear that not a single pharisee would be allowed into the Kingdom of God.
