Adopted to Germany as an infant, Arun spent years searching for answers about his origins. His journey led to a landmark legal battle in India that helped establish adoptees’ rights to access their records. Three months after winning his case, he was reunited with his biological mother. Today, Arun dedicates his life to helping adoptees reconnect with their roots and exposing illegal adoption practices and child trafficking around the world. He has also delivered the powerful TEDx talk “Adoption: The Art of Deception”, where he speaks openly about the realities and ethical challenges within international adoption. This episode explores identity, loss, belonging, truth, and the lifelong search for family. It is a conversation about resilience, human rights, and the voices of adoptees that are too often unheard.
