Being Your Authentic Self

What if some of the things holding you back aren’t limitations at all... but simply rules you’ve been following for years without realizing it? In this episode of the Intentional Coaching Podcast, I’m exploring the power of authenticity and what happens when we give ourselves permission to show up as our true selves. I share my own journey from spending 24 years in a corporate environment - where I learned how to be polished, professional, and “proper” - to discovering the freedom that comes from letting go of rigid expectations and showing up from a more grounded, heart-centred place. We explore: * The hidden rules we create for ourselves throughout life * How family, workplaces, and society shape the way we believe we “should” show up * Why authenticity often feels like breaking the rules * The ripple effect that occurs when one person fully embodies who they are * How being around authentic people can inspire us to rediscover parts of ourselves we’ve never explored before * The power you have to inspire change simply through your presence As I reflect on my own recent experiences - from speaking more authentically to finding unexpected joy in gardening, cooking, and creating - I share how powerful it can be to reconnect with the things that genuinely light us up. My hope is that this episode invites you to pause and ask yourself: Where am I showing up as my authentic self? And where am I still following rules that no longer feel true for me?
