Episode 005: Faye Jacobs

In this episode of the Miracle Man Podcast, Darryl invites fellow exoneree Faye Jacobs to sit down with him and share her story. Faye was wrongfully convicted of murder at the young age of 16. She served 26 years in prison before being exonerated in 2018. Darryl and Faye are part of a small group of people who have been exonerated and set free from prison. They share a special bond, having emerged from the same experience. The pair discusses what it takes for an innocent person to gain freedom while incarcerated, as well as the corruption one notices while navigating the justice system.

Episode 004: Valerie Burton and Susie Roling

In today’s episode of the Miracle Man Podcast, Darryl is joined by two pivotal figures in his reintegration: his wife, Valerie Burton, and longtime friend, Susie Roling. Valerie, a key player with Miracle of Innocence, has been instrumental in the organization’s growth since its founding in 2017. Susie Roling, with her extensive experience working with Journey to New Life, has dedicated her life to, in her words, “caring for your neighbor.” They shed light on the challenges of reintegration and the crucial support systems needed for innocent people after exoneration.
