Episode 8: A Domestic Violence Survival Story

Hello! So as you can tell from the title this is my wonderful friend Kassie's DV survival story! This is a heavy episode in which we touch on Kassie's abusive relationship in depth. There is a lot of physical and mental abuse that is depicted in this episode. This is a survival story though so we also take you through Kassie's healing journey after her relationship and the process it took for her to love herself fully again! At some point we do analyze a recent DV movie (It Ends With Us) and how we feel it portrayed DV and survivors. This story is so important not only to bring light to DV situations but to also bring light to how strong the survivors are and how much work it takes for them to become a whole new person. Episode 7: A Battle with Breast Cancer, Coping with Cancer and Survivors Guilt

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month!! As someone who has had so many people in my life affected by cancer I always knew I wanted to do an episode highlighting how horrible this sickness is. In this episode you get a personal experience from someone very close to me who battled breast cancer. She (Kassie) shares her story of fighting for a diagnosis and the hard decisions she was faced with making along the way. She also talks about how much cancer has affected others in her life and battling with survivors guilt along the way! This is a heavy topic but one I feel is so important to bring light to and get an inside look with someone who recently went through this experience. Episode 6: Recording Breaks, Imposter Syndrome and Wedding Talk... oh my

This episode is a long time coming.... after a well needed break get reacquainted with me as I dive into the cause of my break from recording and talk about some of the things I've been struggling with. Episode 5: A Chat About Mental Health

I'm back! After a bit of a mental health struggle and a few bumps in the road of my person life were finally back. This episode mostly focuses on my personal struggle with my own mental health over the years. I talk a bit about my struggles with anxiety and depression and also share a story that personally affected me as an adult and in turn changed the way that I am able to function in my current years! Episode 4: Navigating a Rollercoaster of a Relationship

Join Noura as she gives you a look into her experience being in a 6 year relationship. In this episode Noura touches on her challenges and growths in her relationship and how she personally has grown and changed as a result. She also speaks about the importance and power of communication and mutual respect and how it factors into her personal relationship.
