We are starting our new series - Women of the Torah, with Dave Parr CEO of Oasis UK as our Guest Speaker . In this introduction to our series, we look at the story of Eve. Eve has had a bad press, but does she deserve it? We will explore gender and equality at the beginning of the Bible, and reassess Eve's Place as the mother of humankind.

Our current series continues , looking at the Context Lens. Context is so important to how we understand the Bible, and also how we understand our Christian lives. This week we explore the importance of context and use it to interpret what the Bible says about the role of women in a way that shows that maybe Jesus and Paul were feminists after all.

Join us as we continue our new Series , looking at the Flourishing Lens, one of the 4 different lenses that we are using to help us to discern what are good ways to interpret the Bible and the Christian life. Jesus came so that we could live an abundant, flourishing life and yet sometimes our interpretations of the Bible lead to teaching that do not promote flourishing. This week we will think together about how to use the idea of flourishing to discern how we follow Jesus
