spiritual principles made practical's podcast
Almost all of us agree that our mind has more power than we give it credit for. I want to accept and realize as much of my potential as I can in this life. Given these 2 facts, it makes sense that I want to claim more of the power of my mind. A few months ago I decided adopting a mantra would be one way I could have more conscious direction of my mind. I could consciously select more of the thoughts in my mind by adopting a mantra. I meditated and was inspired to adopt the following mantra, "I am the world". While that thought felt good, I had trouble relating to it. Because it felt so good to be repeating it in my mind, I continue to do that. Today I woke up with the thought that if I can heal the internal conflici I have around accepting my power that internal healing would be projected into the physical world and an end to the Russian and Ukranian war. It seems obvious to me that if Russia returned the land it anexed from Ukraine and Ukraine gave Russia unfettered access to ports on the Black Sea, the potential for them to live in peace is high. In war, everyone loses. If I create the world with my mind. If believe healing myself heals the world (which I and a great many others do). Then healing my internal conflict should be reflected as an end to external conflict. I've been wrong about lots of things in my life. Maybe this is one of them. HOWEVER, employing the mechanism I use to reliably determine what is true, I know if I can heal my internal conflict enough, that will be reflected back to me by the outer world. I believe our mind is all powerful. We have the ability to tap into that power and direct that power to benefit ourselves and ohers. I can help with that if you wish.
