Disciplined or Punished by God?

Ever feel like God has been punishing you? I have had days, months, years when it felt as though God was punishing me. But it wasn't punishment. It was discipline. The difference is the outcome. With discipline there is learning and growth. Punish is just pain projected from others. God will discipline those he loves so we are called to endure the challenges we face. God will continue to be with you through it all as a loving Father. God is teaching you. Don't run from discipline or you will continue to miss the lesson.

Do you want to be healed?

Jesus asked the paralyzed man, "Do you want to be healed?" Seems odd. Yet there is a powerful truth to the question. If you trully want to be healed then you will be a new creation. As a new creation your old way of life will no longer support you. Do you want to be healed? Are you ready for your life to truly be transformed? Are you too stuck on your issues and problems to be healed? If you want healing, this are going to have to change.
