10: Haneefa on childhood sexual abuse

In this episode, Suzi speaks to Haneefa. When Haneefa was five years old, her cousin began to sexually abuse her. The abuse went on until she was ten years old and her life has been dominated by the trauma. With the support of her therapist, Haneefa reported everything to the police nine months ago. Nothing has happened. 9: Sam on living in care.

In this episode, Suzi speaks to Sam. Sam is 16 and has been using Tellmi for two years. After he was born, Sam's mum developed post-natal depression, so he was raised by his grandparents from the age of 5. Sam has multiple mental and physical health issues and he is now living in a residential care home. Sam has recently gone back into education to get some GCSE's because he would like to be a nurse. Things turned a corner for Jayden when he began identifying as a trans man.
