Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2421520/fan_mail/new]   This week on the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast, we recap our first car show of the season! Even with temps in the 40s and strong Wisconsin wind, 131 cars still came out to support the event. Thank you to everyone who bundled up, brought their rides, and made it a great night!  Tonight’s show features Robert from Wrenchlife Car Shows and the Living the Wrenchlife radio show presented by Traffic Jams Speed Shop. We talk about everything they have coming up this season and what’s happening in the local car community.  We also chat with Julia from the Charleston House in Beaver Dam about their upcoming car show on Saturday, May 30 from 10 AM–3 PM. After a fantastic turnout last year, this year’s event is already shaping up to be even bigger with lots of RSVPs already coming in.  Hot Rod Beth also joins the show to talk about the events she’ll be heading to this weekend, and honestly, she deserves some kind of award for her ability to not smack Al for “The Shit That Al Says.”  It’s a quick episode, but it’s packed with a lot of fun, laughs, car talk, and upcoming events you won’t want to miss!

Episode Iola, Bullheads, Inspiration, and Al's Return Cover

Iola, Bullheads, Inspiration, and Al's Return

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2421520/fan_mail/new] Tonight was a fun one on the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast! Al returned from vacation and jumped right back into the action. We welcomed Ali from Iola back to the show, and Sarah Krause from Bullheads Bar & Grill in Stevens Point joined us to talk about her upcoming shows and events. One of the highlights of the night was our conversation with Dave Kattner, who shared his inspiring story of surviving brain cancer. Dave also told us about building an award-winning truck that earned recognition at Hot August Nights in Reno. Kyle returned with another one of his popular automotive history lessons, giving listeners a look back at an interesting chapter of hot rod history. We wrapped up the show with "The Buzz with Beth" and, of course, everyone's favorite closing segment, "The Shit That Al Says." Thanks to all of our guests and listeners for making it another great Tuesday night! #HotRodTuesday #HotRods #CarCulture #Iola #BullheadsBarAndGrill #HotAugustNights #PodcastLife #ClassicCars #AutomotiveHistory

Wizards of Rods

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2421520/fan_mail/new]   In this episode of the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast, we talked with Tom Vinopal about the Wizards of Rods event taking place in Warrens on Father's Day weekend. We also recapped the shows we attended this past weekend.  Kyle delivered another one of his history lessons, and Hot Rod Beth gave us a preview of this week's upcoming events.  With Al away on vacation, John from Smoke and Gears Garage stepped in as guest co-host. The "Shit That John Says Al Might Say" segment was completely on par with Al's usual brand of lunacy, making for plenty of laughs and a great addition to the show.  Tune in for hot rods, car show highlights, event previews, and the usual dose of automotive humor and chaos!

Leipsic to Tucumcari

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2421520/fan_mail/new]   Episode 84 of the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast is packed with road trip vibes, laughs, history, and plenty of hot rod culture. Tonight we kicked things off with a review of all the weekend activities before heading down Route 66 to talk with Richard Martinez from the Loretta Ann Rockabilly Show in Tucumcari, New Mexico. This incredible 3-day event happening right in the heart of historic Route 66 sounds like an absolute must-see. From live music and classic cars to nonstop entertainment and activities, there is no shortage of things going on. Honestly, you’ll have to hear it to believe it.  As always, Kyle delivered another unforgettable history lesson in the way only Kyle can. Hot Rod Beth kept everyone informed with all the upcoming events happening next weekend, helping you plan your next automotive adventure. And finally, “Shit That Al Says” was surprisingly calm tonight… almost soothing. Don’t worry though, it still brought plenty of laughs.  Catch the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast wherever you listen to podcasts or visit Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast.

Night 2, Plymouth Dirt Track, and Motostatic

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2421520/fan_mail/new] Episode 83 of the Hot Rod Tuesday Podcast did not disappoint tonight! In addition to the audio podcast, there will also be a much-anticipated video version coming soon. There’s a little something for everyone in this episode. We recorded during our second car show of the season, so please forgive the background noise — that’s just the sound of hot rod culture in action! First, we talked with Bill Weinaug from the Plymouth Dirt Track, who filled us in on how their 2026 season is shaping up. Then we caught up with Duwane Marwitz from Motostatic in Dalton, WI. Al once again disappointed Hot Rod Beth, and speaking of Al… “The Sh*t That Al Says” was a real face-palmer this week. Catch Episode 83 wherever you listen to podcasts, and keep an eye out for the video version coming soon!

Celebrate Waupun and Cruising the Court House

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2421520/fan_mail/new]   Tonight’s episode of Hot Rod Tuesday was a little different since Al is off on a fishing trip, but we still packed the show full of fun and great guests! First up, we welcomed Nick Rusch from the Celebrate Waupun Festival, who gave us the rundown on everything happening at this year’s festival — live music, carnival rides, special events, and plenty of family fun. Next, we caught up with Brian Kohlman, owner of the nitro-burning 1931 Chrysler Coupe that will be appearing at the Celebrate Waupun Car Show on June 28. Trust us, you do not want to miss this entertaining interview! We also talked with Abe from NAPA Auto Parts in Waupun about the Milwaukee Tool Blitz and everything going on at the store. After that, Dan Paulson joined us to talk about Cruising the Courthouse. The event has moved from Saturday mornings to Thursday nights this year, so be sure to check them out on Facebook for the latest updates. Of course, History with Kyle was a blast as always, and we wrapped things up with another fun edition of The Buzz with Beth. Spoiler alert: Al didn’t answer his phone. We did still keep the tradition of the "Shit that Al Says". Might want to have the kids leave the room for that part....
