Episode 0- My Why

This week I took the opportunity to talk about why I felt inspired to start this podcast. With the current chaos and confusion in the world, I feel it's important to raise strong men and women and to become stronger myself as a father. I believe we can do better and be better as we push ourselves and learn from other people and their experiences with developing grit and mental toughness.

Episode 6-Jacob Stradling

Jacob has experience as an ICU nurse and with teens who come from many different situations, each working through their own forms of adversity. The time he spends with teenagers, as well as his encounters with death allows him great insight on life, raising children, and embracing situations of growth and discomfort.

Episode 5- Saedi Oldham

Saedi Oldham shares her story with us on this week's episode.  As a goal oriented mother of 6, Saedi has recently lost her second oldest son to cancer but has inspired many to continually seek for happiness amid tough circumstances.  This episode will give you some insight into what therapy and trauma recovery can look like as well as encouraging parents to find purpose in caring for our children.

On this episode, we talk with Roland Griffith, a member of the United States Army who currently works as the Chief of Staff of the Army ROTC program at Brigham Young University.  Roland shares his experiences dealing with the ups and down of being involved in the armed forces, but more specifically his perspective on being a good leader, the power that comes from hitting rock bottom, and taking responsibility for establishing solid priorities in your own life.
