A Reform Member's Journey From Property to Politics | Part 2 | Wendy Whittaker-Large
Wendy Whittaker-Large built a multimillion-pound property portfolio from scratch, starting with a single student HMO in 1997 and scaling to nearly 250 units. all while raising four boys, two of whom were diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. In this episode, she takes us through the real journey: the mistakes, the joint ventures, the council tax battles she actually won, and how financial freedom gave her the independence to start asking uncomfortable questions about the country she loves.
That independence eventually led her to Reform. Wendy opens up about why she joined the party, what she really thinks about Britain's future, the HMO myths she's fighting to correct, and yes, she answers the question directly: are you racist? The common assumption of members of this party. This is an honest, unfiltered conversation about property, politics, and what happens when a mother decides the system needs changing.
