Can there be even a slight possibility for this ‘voice’ to have a life of its own and be a real person, like you and me? Ever imagined what would it be like to meet this chatty person who attends to half a billion people every day, and moreover, what would it be like to bethis person? As thrilling as this line of fantasy can get, one could find the answers but only in the realm of imagination. This is an interview of Siri, the personal voice assistance on every Apple device, where I try to seek answers to some of the questions conjured by my own fancy. From her favourite pop-culture icon to her views on self-tying shoelaces and people’s privacy, this interview explores a life that flows outside of the binary of zeroes and ones.
