Jeroen has been suffering from tailbone pain for over four years and gained a lot of knowledge during his journey of treatments and approaches. In my view he knows more than most doctors and therapists about the topic. He also tried almost all medical and therapeutic options, with as most recent one the spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and here we will dive into deeply in this episode. He will share his journey in finding treatment and what he encountered in the medical and therapeutic world, and the decisions he made along the way. He also talks about what he experienced as a patient suffering from severe problems and how he managed his pain and problems to a level that doesn't interfere with his desired daily life activities. yThe guest in this episode is Dr. Elif Gürkan. She is an experienced Turkish physician that worked in several different countries. She runs her own clinic in Istanbul now and a true specialist on tailbone pain. Next to having experienced tailbone pain herself, she was one of the pioneers on this topic in her country. She treats tailbone patients for over 25 years now and saw over 3000 patients.  In this episode she shares her knowledge, experience and wisdom with us about tailbone pain. We will go into where tailbone pain comes from, what is the underlying mechanism and her experiences treating it through manual mobilisations and injections. 9. Marjolein

Our guest in this episode is Marjolein. Marjolein talks about her path as a patient suffering from tailbone pain and being in a lot of pain and with a lot of restrictions for many years, and where the path of finding adequate treatment led to strong desperation and even suicidal thoughts. Her tailbone problems made her inable to sit and work and in the end had serious implications for her career, sports and social life. In her search for help she often was left with nothing more then: 'we unfortunately cannot help you anymore'. In this episode you will get the expert view from the patients perspective. The guest in this episode is Roel Wilbers.    You have probably heard me as the host of this podcast and in this episode I will dive deeper into the things I learned through the years. 7. Sary van der Hasselt

The guest in this episode is Sary van der Hasselt.    Sary has a masters degree in osteopathy and she is specialised in pelvic and tailbone pain. She is a last resort for a lot of patients and treats from expansive theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience. She has a very wide approach as an osteopath, from where she not only looks at the mechanical aspect like the joints and muscles, she also examines and treats the neurlogical, vascular, viceral and fascia components of problems.
