Beschreibung

Pain. A little four letter word that none of us can seem to escape while alive! We start experiencing pain at a young age. As we journey through life and experience more things we generally run into new spaces of pain. But pain is temporary, yet many people carry their pain from past events well into the future. What I'm saying here is, that we can walk away from pain. We can walk away from pain whenever we chose to do so. Some people have found an identity that is derived from various painful experiences, but I am here to tell you that you have permission to live outside of that. Check out this short episode on how to walk away from pain.

Episode Winter Blues: Coping with Depression Cover

Winter Blues: Coping with Depression

The winter can be a tough time of the year for a lot of people. Especially when you are located in a region with colder temps. You experience shorter daylight days and the struggle to get out of your warm bed or out of your thoughts begins to feel like a daunting and extremely overwhelming tasks. I started this episode as a journal entry to myself on one day and finished it on another day in which I was in a better headspace. I decided to share because I stand on the fact that when we share our experiences, we are potentially helping someone else to normalize their experiences. We are not alone in this world, and no one should ever have to feel like they are doing it alone. So, in this short episode, I keep it real with you on my personal experience, but also provide you with my professional experience of practical tips that can help to assist you with managing the "winter blues" and coping with depression. These tips can also be used year-round! Enjoy
