: President Cyril Ramaphosa says the Madlanga Commission serves as a necessary cleansing process for the country and the criminal justice system in particular. He was speaking to the SABC News on the side-lines of the launch of the Gauteng ANC voter registration campaign at Riversideview in Diepsloot, North of Johannesburg on Saturday. Ramaphosa received the commission's second interim report on Friday. The Madlanga Commission is investigating criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system.
