19 episodesJolien D’Hoore is our guest for this episode of the Wolfpack Howls. After a stellar career as a professional cyclist, that saw her win over 40 races, Jolien has become one of the leading sports directors in women’s cycling, masterminding some of the greatest days in the history of AG Insurance Soudal. Here she tells us about her love for the sport, some of her favourite days in cycling, what it is like to work some of the best young and talented riders around, and how both AG Insurance Soudal and Soudal Quick-Step are benefitting from being part of the Wolfpack eco system.
We sat down with Louis Vervaeke, one of the most fascinating characters in our team. A committed family man, Louis tells us about both his love of his wife and children, as well as his other family in the shape of Soudal - Quick-Step. He also tells us what life is like as a professional cyclist at an altitude training camp, his favourite moments with the team, and the difference in working with two of the world’s most famous cyclists; Mathieu van der Poel and our very own Remco Evenepoel.
In the second of our winter specials, we talk to experienced Sports Director Geert van Bondt A compelling conversation leads us on to talking about what he has been up to this winter, his philosophy on being a sports director, how he took time away from the sport and it rounded his perspective on life, and his famous win as a rider at Gent–Wevelgem
