Founding-era leader Roger Sherman takes center stage this week, for contributions both around the Revolution and the framing of the Bill of Rights. Also this week in history: civil rights leader Medgar Evers is assassinated in 1963; the 1966 Miranda decision affirms an essential due-process right (shockingly recently); and Anne Frank is born in 1929.
