For the One Who Never Quite Fit In: Who Told You?

Have you ever felt like you were too much? Or maybe not enough? Who are you listening to? The opinions of others? The voice of comparison? The lies of insecurity? Or the voice of God? In today's episode, I'm sharing some personal stories from my childhood and the ways I struggled with wanting to fit in, be accepted, and feel like I belonged. For so many years, I worried about being too much for people. Too talkative. Too emotional. Too different. And at other times, I worried that I wasn't enough. I know that many of us have felt that same thing. Together, we'll talk about the powerful truth that God doesn't just tolerate who we are, He intentionally created us and loves us deeply. We'll explore how to give God glory, by exploring what Scripture says about our identity, the danger of allowing other voices to define our worth. Real Love in a Confused World

As I mentioned at the end of the previous episode, I have to take an unplanned break from new episodes, for the next 2 weeks. I will however be back on June 1st for another new episode. However I very prayerfully considered which episodes I should rerelease for these 2 Mondays. I pray that they are just as encouraging as they were the first time they were released.
