Put Away What Is Poisoning Your Peace

Scripture tells us to let those things be put away from us, or as another translation says, to banish them. That is such a strong word because it means they are not welcome to stay. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to hold on to hurt when people say something cruel, act unfairly, or leave you stunned by what they did. Life can absolutely be frustrating. People can be mean. But the key is not letting what they did settle into your heart and start shaping who you become. This message is such a powerful reminder that holding onto bitterness does not hurt the other person nearly as much as it hurts you.
