Anchor Points
Last night I made the mistake of scrolling a little too long before bed. Story after story reminded me of everything that's wrong with the world. By the time I put my phone down, I felt drained instead of encouraged. It made me realize how important it is to pay attention to what we're feeding our hearts and minds. Just like our bodies need healthy food, our souls need things that bring life, hope, and encouragement. We don't have to ignore reality, but we also don't need a constant stream of negativity. Maybe today is a good day to make room for more of what points us back to God's goodness and less of what leaves us feeling defeated.
