Back In The Van In Baja Mexico

After being side-lined with sprinter van repairs in Cabo, Tim & Theresa get back on the road. They leave Todos Santos, Baja and head back north with some great local towns and camping. Until things go horribly wrong in the middle of the hot desert! This is a long one but chocked full of stories along the northerly route. Follow along as we learn some valuable lessons!

Meet ships Captain Casey Hurt, of a historic adventure yacht

Meet Casey, captain of the historic adventure yacht named Westward. Based in La Paz Baja Mexico and also Southeast Alaska. Westward was built in 1924 and is powered by the original Atlas Imperial diesel engine. She is listed with the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as the first purpose-built Alaskan expedition ship. That’s right, she pioneered the Alaska Cruise Industry over 100 years ago and is still doing exactly what she was designed to do. Casey shares his experiences seeing Baja from the water.  He also rides motorcycles, explores overland with his built-out Toyota Tacoma and shares his favorite spots of Baja Mexico.
