We are all running a race, my friend, and there are those who have gone before us and paved the way for our time. Their lives serve as batons passed down to us, allowing us to carry the fruits of their achievements and build upon them. We work towards the goal of expanding and bringing the kingdom of God to earth. Our journey is for a purpose and appointed time, and after us, we are to pass down our batons to the next generation waiting for us, while the previous generations cheer us on.☘️ We are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses in the life of faith, so let us set aside every weight and the sin that so easily besets us and let us run the race set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1). 🌸 This episode discusses carrying the baton of the Christian faith and running the race that God has placed before you.
