Episode Toora, South Gippsland | KAFF-EINE Cover

Toora, South Gippsland | KAFF-EINE

The second instalment of the new public art experience for the South Gippsland region in Victoria, created and produced by us, The Social Crew. This project aims to not only revive spaces, but provide youth in small townships with big opportunities. We engaged the internationally renowned artist Kaff-eine with assistance from local Gippsland artist Melanie Caple to paint a mural and lead a 'Colour by numbers', located in the township of Toora. The mural can be found on the walls of The Toora Primary School's Gym, The mural presented in her signature stylised characters, Kaff-eine drew inspiration from nearby Snake Island in a re-imagining of the annual cattle muster.  In this episode, you'll hear about the creative and design process behind the mural from Kaff-eine.
