Behind the Back Podcast
On Episode 130 of the Behind the Back Podcast, Marcos and the Jet react to the New York Knicks winning the NBA Championship, as they close out the San Antonio Spurs in 5 games. They discuss some of the biggest storylines from the NBA Finals and which moments stood out the most. The boys debate how much of the Spurs failures fall on former Sacramento Kings PG De'Aaron Fox who had an all time bad moment during game 4. They talk about whether the Spurs have what it takes to make it back or if this was their shot. On the New York side of things the boys praise head coach Mike Brown for finally getting over the hump as a head coach, and the difference that he made vs Mitch Johnson in this series. They praise Jalen Brunson and the Knicks for never backing down when they faced big deficits and their overall grit. After that they pivot to the NBA Draft which is less than a week away. They discuss whether or not they'd feel better about drafting Darius Acuff Jr after seeing the success of Jalen Brunson and the Knicks. They then pivot on to football and the Philadelphia Eagles as Marcos FINALLY gets to discuss the AJ Brown trade to the Patriots and what that means for the Eagles moving forward, and they take a moment to reflect on the current state of the Eagles offense without AJ Brown. After that they discuss a rumor surrounding the 49ers and the Eagles as there are reports of interest for DE Maxx Crosby involving both teams. They talk about whether or not that make sense for either team before finishing off the pod with a quick discussion about the World Cup! 0:00 - Intro 03:43 - The New York Knicks are the 2026 NBA Champions!
