What if visibility didn’t have to mean being loud… but simply letting yourself be seen? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I’m sharing a relational micro-practice called Group Visibility. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating. And even when you’re surrounded by clients, that’s a different kind of connection than peer-to-peer support. This practice is about gently showing up inside a group you already belong to — not to prove anything, not to perform, but to let yourself be visible in a space that already feels safe enough. A comment. A reply. A simple post. A small contribution. That’s enough. Because sometimes the shift isn’t in becoming more social. It’s in remembering you don’t have to stay invisible. --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]

Episode ep 18 Awaken Body Tap Cover

ep 18 Awaken Body Tap

What if your body has been waiting to be included… and all it needed was a tap? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a regulating practice called Awaken Body Tap. When we lead with our minds, our bodies often get left behind. And when your mind is moving forward while your body is frozen, shaking, or numb, you're working against yourself sending mixed signals without even knowing it. This practice uses touch to wake your body up and signal your nervous system: we're here, we're safe, we can move. It's one of the very first practices I learned for regulating my own body, and one of the first things I introduced to my son when he was one. He's 13 now. It's still one we use. Simple. Discreet. And it works every time.

Episode ep 17 Birding Cover

ep 17 Birding

What if something as simple as a squiggle… could get you out of your own way? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a playful micro-practice called Doodle Birding. When you're in your head before starting something… like second-guessing, overthinking, quietly convinced it won't work, this practice gives you a way back to yourself that doesn't take long and doesn't require anything serious. A doodle bird starts as a random squiggle on a page. What it becomes is entirely up to the moment. And that's the whole point. I've been making doodle birds for about four or five years. Over time I noticed that whatever I worked on after making one took less time. Because I was second-guessing myself less. I tracked it for a full year, and by October 2023, one of my most intensive quarterly projects was taking about 55% of the time it used to. Almost cut in half. Small shifts add up. I also have a Doodle Bird series on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RV8xHr0jLk&list=PLf1iMzcLQeLaUlgYR4QOIYVeETw3o7ALi [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RV8xHr0jLk&list=PLf1iMzcLQeLaUlgYR4QOIYVeETw3o7ALi] --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]

Episode ep 16 Self Gifting Cover

ep 16 Self Gifting

What if you gave yourself something lovely… without needing to earn it first? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I’m sharing a gentle practice called Self Gifting. Not retail therapy. Not reward for doing something hard. Not a treat because you’re stressed out. Self gifting is giving yourself something because you exist. Because you are already worthy of receiving. It might be something tiny — a coffee, an audiobook, a quiet afternoon outside, a moment of time that feels special. This practice helps loosen the belief that goodness has to be earned before it can be received. Sometimes the gift is small. But the shift underneath it is big.

Episode ep 14 Making Marks Cover

ep 14 Making Marks

What if grounding yourself was as simple as making one repeated mark on paper? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I’m sharing one of my favorite regulating practices called Making Marks. This is a simple sensory-based practice that brings together movement, touch, sound, sight — and sometimes even smell — through pen, paper, and repetition. You choose one mark — a line, circle, X, triangle, whatever feels good — and repeat it over and over until your body feels complete. I use this while learning, listening, sitting in meetings, or anytime I need to shift out of overthinking and back into steadiness. It’s grounding, creative, and a little playful all at once. Sometimes your body doesn’t need more thinking. Sometimes it just needs something simple to do with its hands.
