Episode 2 - Deb Sunderman

Deb Sunderman is the GOAT that you have probably never heard of!  In this episode, we introduce you to Deb and chat about how she got involved in wheelchair basketball after a stellar career in stand up basketball.  We learn about her quick rise from club player with the Minnesota Rolling Timberwolves to Team USA superstar, where she lead Team USA to it's first ever Paralympic gold medal in women's wheelchair basketball.  Later in the conversation, we take a dive into her transition into coaching, which lead to her being the first woman in NWBA history hired as the head coach of our senior national team.  Deb is truly a woman of firsts and we learned so much in our time with her.  We hope you enjoy this conversation with Deb as much as we did!  Find us on Instagram at between_bookends_podcast
