It is an hour+ of me saying the word "fantastic" over and over again as I describe what I believe to be the best albums of 2020. First, honorable mentions; then, overhyped albums that didn't meet my mark; finally, top 6, separated into 3 tiers, with the best album being on a tier of its own, 3 albums that came suuuuper close, and 2 other incredible albums. This episode was more for fun than anything else, but me and one of my best friends break down Season 16 of Grey's. We talk about Alex's bonkers departure storyline, Nico and Schmidt's staleness, Amelia and Link's refreshing partnership, and the careful and empathetic handling of DeLuca's bipolar disorder, among other things. The intro shouts out four Black people you should be engaging with to better understand daily life as a Black person, so if nothing else, I hope you'll listen to that.

For some reason the conversation around Pride has centered around how to gentrify, control, and police an exclusively Queer space. Here, I walk through our Queer history, filling in the blanks for those who don't know about the Stonewall Riots, address the commercialization of Pride and how it has been strategically coopted to reflect celebration in lieu of liberation, and finally, debunk the toxic and hateful narratives that are being repeated about Queer people- sometimes by Queer people themselves- as a means to limit our freedom.
