Karl Dakin is exploring the use of Knowledge Avatars in education and training, where they can act as teaching assistants, and in project management, where they can serve as centralized information sources for teams. He envisions a future where organizations may have multiple avatars, each with specific knowledge, to balance the need for general AI with the protection of intellectual property and confidential information. This approach allows for more efficient and contextually relevant interactions, as avatars can be trained on specific topics or projects. Karl Dakin and Emiliano De Laurentiis discuss the potential of Knowledge Avatars, AI-powered tools that can store and retrieve information. These avatars can serve as teaching assistants, repositories of personal knowledge, and even living memoirs. As AI technology advances, avatars will become more sophisticated, enabling users to control and access information securely and efficiently. Karl is proposing an $80 million facility in Pueblo, Colorado, to support AI and the arts, aiming to attract funding through job generation.
