Episode 42: Legend of La Llorona

The Legend of La Llorona spanish for the weeping woman, this story comes from Hispanic culture in the southwest around the 1500’s. She is described by many whoo have seen her as looking like a tall, thin beautiful spirit with long black flowing hair and known to be wearing white gowns and roams the rivers and creeks, crying at night in search of children to bring with her to a watery grave.

She was a single mother that had her whole life ahead of her until one tragic night that caused her to lose her life. Her boyfriend Jeremy Banks was at the center of her death but claimed she had committed suicide and until this day her death would still be claimed as so.
