Jesus perfectly demonstrated mercy throughout His ministry and ultimately at the cross, taking upon Himself the punishment we deserved. As recipients of God's rich mercy, which is renewed every morning, we are called to extend that same mercy to others. This happens through forgiving those who have wronged us and showing kindness to those in need. Living mercifully requires intentionality - keeping our eyes open for opportunities to help others and respond when God prompts us to act.
